About the Event
This full-day summit features interactive breakout workshops, engaging discussion topics, and dedicated time to build community connections, that will provide youth the opportunity to:
- Attend youth-led workshops on topics such as: Protest and Event Safety, Fighting Misinformation/Disinformation, Capacity Building and Longevity, and Community Building
- Gain insight into forms of youth activism and how the League can support our younger members
- Engage in dialogue with community members of all ages who are passionate about social change
- Develop practical skills for promoting effective civic participation
The summit will be facilitated by the League of Women Voters of Oregon (LWVOR) Youth Council, a dedicated team of high school and college students passionate about inspiring and guiding the next generation of change-makers.
